Senior Executive / Assistant Deputy Manager - Sales (Air Freight) (Freight Forwarding Division)

Objectives:
Business development and be directly responsible for revenue generation from specified geographical areas.

The Business development personal will work towards achieving set targets on Air Freight (Import & Export) products.

Main responsibilities:
- Manage an assigned geographical sales area or product line to maximize sales revenues & coverage to meet corporate objectives
- Develop prospective clients, make cold calls and service and grow existing clients
- Respond to inquiries by clients
- Send inquiries to agents
- Prepare quotations through Sales support and send to clients
- Follow up on quotations and close business, if lost revert with reasons
- On receiving confirmed business hand over to customer service
- Coordinate through Customer service with operations for container placing / container releases etc.
- Monitor timely Delivery of invoices to clients if any disputes, update credit control
- Collect dues and outstanding amounts from clients in allotted credit limit
- Meet volume targets
- Timely submission of reports set by the management as per the deadline
- Provide MIS information on Market & Competitor activity to Management
- Ensure Credit customers are wetted out through the with Credit approval process

Requirements

- Graduate/Post graduates in any stream
- 4-7 years of experience in selling freight forwarding products like Air Freight (Imports & Exports)
- Specialist knowledge: Sales, Business Development, Air Freight
- Gender Preference: Male
- Current Location: UAE
- Candidate must have valid UAE D/L with own car. Excellent spoken & written communication skills
