Job description / Role
URGENTLY REQUIRED SENIOR EXECUTIVES FOR BILLINGS DEPARTMENT IN MULTI-NATIONAL OFFSHORE & MARINE ENGINEERING COMPANY IN QATAR
1) Report to Manager / Asst. Manager (Billing and Accounts Receivables)
2) Prepare and maintain billing file.
3) Responsible for all commercial activities, once the vessels are in the yard.
4) Attend to the daily on-board VSCC meeting and provides feedback / action plans if necessary.
5) Provide quotations for additional work and submit the budget update periodically to the Owners Representative.
6) Ensure collection of all documents and other related data for preparation of draft invoice.
7) Ensure proper documentation related to billing and accounts receivables are complete as agreed with the Owners Representative and Finance Department.
8) Perform other duties assigned.
Requirements
1) Project job costing skills
2) Negotiation skills
3) Emotional Quotient skills
4) Understanding of Specification
5) Knowledge of pricing and estimation skills in accordance with Owners specification and requirements.
6) Knowledge on understanding of Owners requirements.
7) Knowledge on understanding of contractual, legal, insurance & other statutory requirements.
8) Knowledge on preparing additional quotations and budget updating as owners requirements.
9) Knowledge on preparation of bills, using original/additional quotes and gathering information from various sections.
10) Degree/Diploma in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering or similar
11) 5+ years relevant work experience in Maritime Industry
