Employment: Full Time

Our client is a dynamic, leading trading and industrial conglomerate in Saudi Arabia. Established for more than 50 years, it plays a pivotal role in the development of the Saudi Arabian infrastructure. It is a holding group consisting of 5 business sectors operating in trading, manufacturing, construction, services and consumer products. It has a strong presence Kingdom-wide and has a base headquarters in the Eastern Region.

They are looking for a Senior Executive Manager, directly reporting to the Managing Director / Chief Operating Officer. He will lead a team of business unit heads and general managers. He shall be a member of the Executive Committee with scope of work including: providing leadership, direction and guidance to the Business Units in cooperation the Executive Committee. He shall follow up and guide the development of business units’ strategic plans and annual budgets. He will be directly interfacing with internal auditing teams, reporting and partnering with the Managing Director to achieve organizational strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow up and guide the development of Business Units strategic plans, and annual budgets.
• Brief and advise the EC on strategic business development and key corporate planning issues and make recommendations on major business decisions.
• Review Business Units operations and provide direction in a manner that ensures that the company meets set performance objectives.
• Provide leadership in the development and implementation of the various policies as well as the operational, managerial and financial systems required for the effective management of the Business Units in co?operation with the EC.
• Monitor the performance of business units and provide guidance for improvement.
• Formulate and implement with EC, the Group’s strategy, objectives and goals related to operating companies.
• Engage in risk management assessment and disclose risks and threats to the Group.
• Propose expert opinion to mitigate risks and enhancing corporate governance.
• Conduct due diligence on new equity firms to be considered for the Group’s portfolio
• Responsible for the implementation of high standards of internal control and procedures in order o safeguard the Group’s operations, assets and data.
• Ensure that internal audit and other corporate procedures are implemented.
• Provide awareness, coaching and training to staff as required.
• Oversee and work closely with the CFO to ensure timely and accurate financial management.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory rules and regulations.

• Executive Reporting and ERP experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer literate
• Fluent in both English and Arabic

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master Degree in accounting/finance or business administration or industrial management or equivalent
• At least 15 years of experience or equivalent in any of the expertise fields, 5 of which in an executive position
• Professional certification in quality management system ISO 9001/management audit is a must
• In depth experience in a senior financial?management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial/management strategies
• Experience working with information technology seniors to manage ERPs and other software packages
