About the Job

Air Arabia is looking for dynamic individual with strong conceptual and management skills to supervise all Marketing and Corporate Communication activities, plans & projects and ensure right implementation to meet the company objectives. The jobholder will be responsible for assisting the Head of the Department in the creation and implementation of overall Marketing & Communication strategies.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for developing and supervising marketing campaigns. The role includes research, planning, advertising, public relations, event organisation, product development, project management, distribution and sponsorship.
• A proven ability to oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
• Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including studio, creative, sales, out-stations, hubs, e-commerce, suppliers and partner organizations.
• Responsible for media planning as well as negotiating media buying contracts with suppliers
• Responsible for evaluating effective advertising channels as well as sourcing new mediums for advertising.
• Responsible for market research and competitor data analysis in order to identify market requirements for current and future products.
• Supervise Digital campaigns and seek innovative solutions to develop digital presence
• Acting as Project Supervisor for ad-hoc communication projects that run throughout the year
• Monitor the effectiveness of the campaign activities and enhance the same based on the market responses/feedback as and when required.
• Establish a strong relationship with the sales team to gather information on the current market trends which will help in designing & conceptualizing creative solution.
• Responsible for aligning and reporting monthly performance of the department – Marketing, E-commerce, Public Relations and Customer Relations.
• Keep up-to-date with the current advertising industry trends and look for innovative solutions to enhance Marketing communication, campaigns and activities in order to enhance brand awareness in the market.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in marketing or management
• 3 years’ experience in the marketing industry with an advertising agency or FMCG background
• Customer oriented with an ability to work independently and manage a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English. Arabic would be an advantage.
• PC Literate and well versed in MS Office Suite / Google office applications.
• Previous airline experience is preferable but not essential
