Job description / Role
- Experience and in depth knowledge of the relevant FF&E market for the required project such as high end Hospitality projects.
- Responsibility for a project from selections, coordination with Design and CPP Departments, budget spending and forecasting and delivering to deadlines, overall costs including staffing and Client and supplier liaison.
- Strong involvement in overall design concept and successful in reading what design goals a client requires from initial briefing.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: to be able to communicate with Management and Clients, an ability to solve problems and find solutions to difficult situations in a calm professional manor. A capacity to motivate team members both within and outside the department, along with suppliers and third parties. A willingness to listen to requests and implement new ideas from the team when relevant. Excellent presentation and client facing skills.
- Analytical and extremely organised: able to prioritise tasks under pressure, foresee problems from experience and put measures in to place to prevent complications. Capacity to deal with multiple projects at one time.
- Ability to work on several projects concurrently.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Creative: Imaginative solutions to the FF&E selections and supply regardless of budget and time deadlines. Realistic and commercial capability to discover the correct solution.
- Flexible and Adaptive Able to provide enthusiasm and experience to a range of styles and designs as well as an overall knowledge of all FF&E packages and suppliers that are in our remit. Decisive attitude to work and deadlines. Applying existing experience to the projects with confident and logical decisions.
- An awareness of the Middle East and international suppliers would be desirable.
Requirements
- BSc (preferred)
- Worked for a large interiors company
- Minimum of 10 years experience
- Must be in the GCC or have experience of UAE projects
- Available within 1 month
- Hospitality experience
TAX FREE lump sum monthly salary package - Up to AED 22-24,000 per month + medical + bonus
