Senior FM Operations Manager

Job description / Role

Inspire selection are working in partnership with an FM service provider based in Qatar. Due to company expansion and business wins, they have an opening for a Senior FM Operations Manager.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will form part of the Senior Leadership Team and work closely with clients, MEP subcontractors and colleagues, exercising excellent team working skills and building positive relationships.

You will be responsible for service delivery across all contracts, staff management, client management and developing relationships across various contracts. You will have full autonomy over business performance and meeting targets, including achievement of budgets whilst seeking new business opportunities in Qatar.

Responsibilities
- To deliver, at all times, high quality Hard and Soft FM services within the business by applying professional expertise and management along with compliance against the contract thus ensuring added value, increased productivity, and cost efficiencies.
- To formulate in conjunction with Company management and the Client, suitable strategies to meet the demands of service provision and ongoing improvement.
- To exercise financial and commercial controls in the management of expenditure and income within agreed budgets. To maximise profitability of operations and deliver ongoing cost savings.
- To identify and develop opportunities to enhance business and revenue growth.
- To produce an overall contract budget and be responsible for actual performance against budget and to take remedial action when applicable.
- To cost effectively manage business with all suppliers in order to achieve best value for money and develop supply relationships.
- To implement and maintain the performance monitoring system, while being accountable for the monthly performance.
- To actively promote the development of professional codes of practice in line with organisational and local business needs.
- To be involved in business development activities for the contract and Company as a whole.

Requirements

- Must have experience in MEP/Hard Services
- Must have an engineering background and be able to understand FM Tenders and pricing
- Must have experience in the Middle East and be able to manage a multi-cultural work force
- Must have experience of working with a recognised service provider as an Operations Manager for at least 5 years

Package: 45,000 - 50,000 QAR + Car + medical + flights + family status
