Senior Facility Manager

Job description / Role

Inspire Selection are working on behalf of an international FM Service Provider with major operations based in Kuwait.

They have an urgent opening for a senior FM to manage a prestigious Commercial and Retail Tower based in the heart of Kuwait.

The purpose of this role is to oversee, advise and co-ordinate all aspects of the clients involvement in the management of this major Building, overseeing approximately 500 staff and sub contractors on site.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside the client to understand their service needs and desires and develop a service solution strategy which meets their requirements

• Develop meaningful SLA’s and KPI’s which are fair towards all parties

• Develop a set of comprehensive operations plans and methodologies which ensure service is maintained

• Consolidation of data during the preliminary services up to actual project completion to permit the creation of a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) System

• Manage a diverse, both culture and technical knowledge, FM team dealing with all aspects of people management including appraisals and performance management

• Contractor management of outsourced services including Specialist hard services, fire systems, lifts, hygiene and waste management

• Oversee the contract budget

• Take overall responsibility for customer satisfaction

• Complete periodic performance reports on time

Salary: Upto 3000 KWD/month + flights + medical.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years in an FM environment
Experience of managing a major contract of upto 300 people
Must have experience on a commercial or retail project
Must be able to speak Arabic and English
Some experience in transition and commissioning would be useful
Strong comprehension of hard and soft service
Strong awareness of the difference between leadership and management
