Senior Field Service Engineer

-Provide high levels of 1st line support to agreed preventative maintenance plans.
-Hardware installation, configuration and maintenance.
-Receive and process incoming support calls through to completion.
-Production of customer facing technical documentation to support projects.
-Maintain system uptime in line with agreed availability levels.
-System downtime to take place outside of working hours.
-Documentation/records up-to-date.
-Meet/exceed minimum target levels as set at performance review.
-Feedback from QHSE Manager/audits.

Requirements

-A technically able graduate with a keen business and commercial awareness
-Confident, with the personal presence to effectively communicate with all levels of customers and staff
-Analytical with good written and verbal communication skills
-Proven ‘hands-on’ experience in mobile data installation and maintenance.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-Ability to rectify problems and perform routine proactive maintenance.
-Self motivated with excellent time management.
-Ability to think logically and clearly, able to make decisions and use own judgement.
-Proven ability to respond well under pressure and manage a variety of tasks
-A disciplined and methodical but adaptable approach.
-Detailed understanding on Trapeze ITS products
-Knowledge of the UK local authority passenger transport market
-Work within a shift rota as required
-Available to work additional weekends and evenings when necessary.
-Flexible and willing to respond to short notice situations.
-Full and clean driving licence and ability to travel to any UK site.
