Job Description - Accountabilities
- Prepare Financial Reporting to Qatar Petroleum (QP)
- Quarterly Statement of Petroleum Costs (SPC) incl. explanations of actual cost versus budget and reconciliation to SAP
- Quarterly Financial Statements incl. explanations of movements compared to previous quarter and reconciliation to SAP
- Annual Financial Statements incl. explanation of movements compared to previous year, reconciliation to SAP and coordination of external audit
- Annual Fixed Assets list incl. explanation of movements compared to previous year and reconciliation to SAP
In the preparation of these financial reports the incumbent will need to work together with external stakeholders (Qatar Petroleum & PWC) and internal stakeholders throughout the organization, incl. all FiB teams, revenue accounting and financial reporting.
Coordinate the preparation of the annual Work Program & Budget (WP&B) submitted to Qatar Petroleum:
- Coordinate with the P&A team and FiB teams to obtain budget amounts, explain changes to prior year and describe activities for upcoming year
- Categorize budgets in line with PSA classifications
- Coordinate with FiB teams to obtain operational KPIs
- Coordinate with Economics and Revenue accounting team to obtain five year and long-term forecast
- Coordinate with Affiliate staff to obtain affiliate cost estimates and rates
- Coordinate with Real Estate and FiB to obtain leases overview
- Coordinate with HR to obtain manpower data and organization chart
- Support Head PSA Accounting and Controller in preparation and execution of engagements with QP

Requirements

PSA compliance:
- Advise the organization on PSA compliance to ensure adherence to the PSA agreements
- Support PSA training for the organization
- Coordinate Cost Recovery Exposure note process
Cost Recovery review & KPIs:
- Coordinate monthly analysis of recoverable and non-recoverable costs and identify improvement opportunities
- Ensure timely submitting of quarterly cost recovery KPIs to the Group
Accounting Committee:
- Coordinate preparation for quarterly Accounting Committee
- Support Head PSA Accounting in preparation of position papers for discussion with QP
QP audit:
- Coach & Support the PSA analyst in the preparation for and execution of QP audits
Finally the incumbent is expected to participate in other special and business improvement projects in company.
