Senior Finance Manager (Multinational Company)

Job description / Role

As a Senior finance Manager you are responsible for Multi-brand area functionality, which is one of the most dynamic and fastest growing segments of retail. As such, the manager will be the primary financial and strategic partner to business leaders across this area providing thought leadership, insightful analysis, and financial controls to drive overall sales and profit.

Position is located in Dubai.

- Own the Finance partnership with Multi-Channel team, cultivating a strong working relationship not only with this team but across the organization
- Responsible for financial performance across multi-channel programs
- Work with business partners to determine key strategic priorities for the year and to develop annual financial/operating plans
- Perform competitive analysis and industry bench marking of multi-channel offerings
- Perform investment analysis including financial models, assess P&L impact, and prepare business cases for proposed new offerings/programs
- Own forecasting process incorporating current business trends and planned strategies
- Lead monthly P&L reviews recapping results, providing insights and explaining variances
- Proactively identify, develop and implement enhancements to existing reporting and business processes to keep organization apprised of performance
- Lead hoc analysis and decision support, with ability to determine appropriate methodology, execute analysis, and package business case for presentation to senior leadership

Requirements

- Drives the execution of multiple plans and projects

- Leads multi-functional teams to drive the strategic business goals
- Promotes and supports company policies, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Serves as business and financial consulting expert to business partners

Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Finance or related field
- 10 years experience in finance or related field
- 6 years experience in leading a finance team.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Self-motivated/self-managed individual, as supervisor will be located in Dubai
- Proven track record of serving as finance partner to dynamic business area
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, financial modeling, trend analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis
- Experience building a business plan for a new business concept, including consumer proposition, business operations, and financial projections
- Strategic mindset who thinks broadly, generates ideas, and comfortably makes decisions without all of the facts
- Ability to interpret research data, trends and insights, to draw conclusions, and to understand relevant implications to our business
- Ability to interact with senior leadership, influence points of view without having direct authority, and work toward consensus
- Ability to manage across portfolio of projects
