Senior Finance Officer

Job description / Role

Leap 29 are currently working with an Abu Dhabi based family Investment company who are engaged heavily in the real estate, development and investment sides and public and private equity funds. Who are seeking a Senior Finance Officer who can maintain the integrity and efficiency of books and accounts for the Group. You will also assist with the management of the finances for numerous local properties as well as international properties in the UK and US.

You will report to the Head of Finance. You will be responsible for assisting in the designing and implementing Finance and Accounting policies. Preparation of Cash Balance Report, Petty Cash, Reconciliation of 155 bank accounts, Reconciliation of all general ledgers/Valuation on Foreign currencies. As well as this you will be responsible for preparation of financials of semi-annual and annual audit, and coordinate the Audit process by preparing all Audit schedules.

Requirements

- 8 years or more experience within finance functions
- 3 or more years experience of which should be in a management position
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Auditing procedures
- A background in real estate or investments will be a preference
- A degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent as a minimum a Master's would be preferred
- Professional qualifications in Internal Auditing (CPA/CA/CIA etc.)
- Experience working within a large group of companies is a strong advantage
- GCC experience is preferred
- Fluency in Arabic would be advantageous
