Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with an investment business who is looking to hire an Arabic speaking Senior Financial Accountant.
With a reporting line to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will take ownership to support areas of strategy, planning and budgets combined with cash flow projections to assist commercial objectives and financing structures.
You will focus on the establishment of financial controls and governance procedures, as well as manage, record and report all areas of assets, liabilities, revenue and expenses.
This remit will also involve areas of treasury management and bank reconciliation whilst overseeing all areas of payment and collections and will extend to the production of MIS reports to support the CFO and Senior Management.
You will also oversee all accounting related needs aligned to IFRS and IAS, therefore it is essential you possess an understanding of the GCC financial services industry.
Requirements
The successful candidate should hold a Chartered Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) coupled with up to five years PQE including financial services exposure. You should possess strong presentation skills with Excel based tools to present reports and accounts across the organisation. This role is available to Arabic speaking candidates only.
