Senior Financial Analyst

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading FMCG business based in Abu Dhabi.

They are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their vibrant and dynamic team.

Responsible for company budget preparation in coordination with all departments, under the guidelines of the FP&R Manager
Assist FP & R Manager in financial planning process: collects information from all departments and elaborates P&L statements to generate a consolidated Budget/MYF (From Volume till NP)
Profitability analysis by brand, channel and product.
Financial reporting of the company, including tracking of progress against budgets, highlighting areas of concern.
Delivers value-added cross-functional planning support including Monthly & Quarterly Flash Reports
Assist FP&R Manager in Monthly Actual Closing and Reporting
Prepare and circulate Monthly Management Reports to Top Management
Conducts and documents ad hoc financial, business, profitability and cost analysis as needed

Requirements

The successful candidate should be:

A graduate in business administration.
Fully qualified CA/ CPA
8 years functional experience out of which 2 years should be in a equivalent middle management position
Experience within FMCG or Manufacturing companies
UAE knowledge is preferred
Basic Understanding of IAS/IFRS and Accounting practices
