Job description / Role
This expanding group is a market leader in the Middle East with a range of high profile, global retail brands across the region. The UAE division is expanding rapidly and they are seeking to add a key Senior Financial Analyst reporting to the Divisional Managing Director to provide linkage across the different divisions and business units.
You will work closely with operational sales and marketing division managers and develop excellent knowledge of the business units’ operating environments, including market size, industry trends, competitors, brands, margins, retail outlets as well as media and advertising spends.
Duties will include
• Support Marketing and Sales Teams in preparing P&L projection for promotions and launches, analysis of financial viability of new openings, and marketing budget follow-up.
• Evaluate business proposals with complete analysis of economic impact on business.
• Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry and economic conditions for use in making decisions.
• Measure, plan and forecast Marketing activities and implications to income statement and balance sheet.
• Develop Financial Strategic Planning as 3-Y Plan, Strategic plan, Annual Plan & Quarterly Plan updates.
Requirements
We are looking for a mature, astute accounting professional preferably with a CPA (MBA will be considered), who may have strong multi-national experience. The role is based out of Dubai with regular trips to other ME countries including KSA, Qatar etc.
