Position title: Senior Financial Analyst
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Region: MENA (Dubai)
Function: Finance

ROLE PURPOSE:
To deliver accurate, consistent, timely and consolidated financial reporting in all areas relating to financial
planning, analysis, budgeting and forecasting activities balance sheet and cash flow.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Description

- Responsibility for preparing the monthly Group consolidation of over 15 entities.

- Responsibility for preparation of monthly financial statements and analysis and interpretation of the
company’s financial performance and annual financial statements.

- Responsibility for developing and preparing monthly management reporting for departmental management
within the UAE. Integral input into the annual budget process will be an important part of the position.

- Contribute proactively as a key member of the Senior Management Executive.

- Timely and accurate preparation, consolidation and presentation of weekly and monthly financial
statements and reports.

- Direct and review the analysis and interpretation of financial information for use in management decision
making.

- Analysis and evaluates department budget requests to prepare budgetary documents, reports and
recommendations.

- Preparation of financial budgets for incorporation in company business plans.

- Participate in the development of financial strategies, policies, objectives and plans.

- Ensure that the finance function acts in a supportive “partnership” capacity to operational business units.

- Systems design, implementation, review and improvement.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge:

- Candidate should be a fully qualified accountant from a CCAB affiliated institute (ACA, ACCA, ICAS etc.)

- Preferably with Big 4 audit experience.

Experience:

Total of 10-15 years of experience. Atleast 5 years in a Financial Analyst role.

Skills:

- Stature, maturity and presence to win respect and support at all levels and represent the company to
the highest levels.

- Knowledge of budgetary management and accounting principles, and procedures.

- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.

- Commercial acumen with “bottom line” focus.

- Good presentation, leadership, problem-solving, analytical and listening skills.

- JD Edwards or other recognized ERP system experience

- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.

- Practical, commonsense approach.

- Energetic, proactive and self-sufficient.

- High level of determination and commitment.

- Sense of urgency and ability to work to tight deadlines.
