Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a well known and highly respected MNC with a presence across the wider Middle East. They currently seek a very experienced Finance professional to join their KSA business, to be based in Riyadh and take responsibility for the financials, audit and internal issues across Riyadh and Jeddah.

The role will report to the Regional CFO and be responsible for effectively supervising the financial, legal and internal affairs of the business. There would be 6 reports into this role across the Kingdom and duties will be as follows:

To effectively supervise the financial, legal, personnel, and internal affairs of the agency, with 6 staff reporting to the position.

Audit:
- Achieves the timely recording of all transactions and the preparation of all financial reports.
- Assists in the preparation of all audit/review schedules and review of the books and records with an outside audit team.
- Supervises external audits requested by agency clients.
- Administers tax strategy.

Reporting:
- Prepares special reports and performs studies as directed by the board

Asset Management:
- Protection of business assets and loss prevention through internal control and internal auditing.
- Protects corporate assets through sound accounting policies and procedures which include:
- Provision for insurance coverage, as required; and

Accounting:
- Manages client billing, both media and production.
- Manages monthly closing.
- Controls the flow of data into general ledger.
- Prepares monthly balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Maintains all corporate accounting records in accordance with established disposal schedules.
- Ensures that media payments to vendors are reviewed, verified, and approved.
- Maintains adequate controls of receipts and disbursements.
- Ensures that the agencys cash flow is adequate to meet its commitments.
- Manages the agencys travel and entertainment policy and procedural guidelines, execution, and updating.
- Receipt, custody, and disbursement of the companys monies and securities; and
- Credit and collection management in a timely fashion.
- Works with the EVP and AEs to track and institute plans for all losing accounts first, then all accounts.

Requirements

- Must be an Arab National (Non-Arab Nationals will not be contacted)
- Must have worked in KSA
- If currently working in KSA, MUST have a transferrable Iqama (unless a Saudi National)
- Qualified Accountant
- Experience working for MNC's
