Our client, an international multi disciplined consulting group, who provide design and project management services across the building and construction, civil engineering and infrastructure sectors seeks a Lead Fire Safety Inspector on major building projects in Doha, Qatar.
Reporting to the Resident Engineer / Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting building inspections on projects under construction to verify codes;
• Inspecting and reviewing electrical systems and fire safety equipment for compliance purposes;
• Assistance in conducting and reviewing fire risk assessments and fire preventative and protective measures on site;
• Assistance in monitoring, reviewing and auditing fire safety on projects.
Requirements
The key attributes of the role include:
• A tertiary qualification with international NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management qualification is essential;
• At least 4 years international experience in a similar role;
• Previous experience on commercial construction (building or infrastructure) would be highly regarded;
• Expatriate experience would also be highly regarded.
