The role is to be heavily involved with GIS application development and will have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve GIS spatial analysis challenges as a Senior Consultant.
The successful candidate should have experience using GIS tools with associated programming and scripting languages such as .NET and Python.
You will be required to:
- Project manage a number GIS projects
- Liaise with clients
- Budget and financial forecast for projects
- Be hands on GIS mapping for a varied environmental project work load
- Develop and maintain the ArcGiS server environment
Requirements
- 5+ years experience with Python scripting experience with spatial RDBMS such as Postgre SQL/PostGIS, MySQL Spatial, or Oracle Spatial experience with web scripting languages and technology such as PHP, Javascript, Silverlight, FLEX, XML, AJAX, SOAP, etc.
- Comfort and experience working with Windows and Unix-based (Unix, Mac, Linux) operating systems
This role is looking to pay a competitive salary for a three year fixed term contract.
