Senior Geologist

Job description / Role

We are currently working with a growing Oil & Gas Operator conducting production and exploration operations in the Middle East. Due to continuous growth, our client is seeking an experienced Geologist to be based in the UAE. As Senior Geologist you will be collaborating with different teams within the group on critical decisions regarding prospects that enhance production and reserves.

Requirements

The suitable candidate will be Degree qualified preferably in Geology or relevant subject, over ten years’ experience within upstream exploration and production companies. A good understanding of seismic interpretation and analysis, reservoir simulation modelling and log analysis. Experience in the Middle East is favourable. Previous office based positions as well as well-site geology experience is a plus.
Our client offers a competitive salary package depending on qualifications and experience, this is a residential based position in the UAE.
