Job description / Role
Working within KEO’s Infrastructure Division as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer you will be expected to manage all geotechnical matters associated with large scale construction projects within Doha, Qatar.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
•Geotechnical design and site supervision – Planning, specifying, tendering and site supervision of geotechnical investigations for infrastructure projects involving highways and bridges, water and waste water, electric sub stations, near shore marine facilities, large water reservoirs, buildings, micro-tunneling, deep excavations and underground structures
•Extensive experience involving technical, project management, and financial aspects of contracts, coupled with strong experience in assessing Contractors’ claims and financial submissions or proposals.
•Demonstrated ability in liaising with internal and external Clients and coordinating with various government departments and agencies.
•Proven capacity to work with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Requirements
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
•Registration of a recognized Professional Engineering Board such as PE (Professional Engineer) or C.Eng (Chartered Engineer) is favorable.
•Previous experience gained within a Consultancy would be highly beneficial, whilst prior experience in the Gulf Region is advantageous.
•A minimum of 15 years post graduate related experience.
•Prior experience working within the Gulf Region is required.
