Senior Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking for a highly disciplined and experienced individual to fill the position of Senior Geotechnical Engineer to work in our major project in Doha, Qatar.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Preparation of geotechnical desk studies 
* Preparation, supervision and interpretation of ground investigations
* Production of geotechnical interpretative reports including engineering parameters and considerations
* Managing and checking of work completed by junior staff
* General project management including interfacing with design teams internally
* Liaison with clients

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree in civil engineering / geology / engineering geology.
* CEng, MICE or approaching this level (or equivalent) would be advantageous
* Minimum 5-10 year post graduate experience obtained in a consultancy environment, preferably some within the Middle East
* Good communicator (written and verbal) and able to work effectively within a team as well as independently
* Valid driving license
