Job description / Role
Reporting to the Project Managers and Team Manager, the primarily role of the Senior Geotechnical Engineer is to contribute to technical reports, assist in the derivation of engineering parameters, operate analytical software packages, and attend to other tasks as directed by the Managers.
* Supervise contractor's work and monitor construction in accordance with approved programme, and carry out geological field reconnaissance.
* Actively participate in coordination between the engineers and inspectors in the team
* Answering technical queries and requests for information and forward to relevant designers
* Prepare progress reports
* Set up computerised spreadsheets for engineering computations
* Summarise findings in calculations sheets

Requirements
* Degree holder in Geology and/or other related fields.
* Minimum of 7 years relevant experience.
* Capable of using Geotechnical softwares.
* Experience in Marine/Coastal/Port engineering is preferred as would previous experience of working in the Middle East.
