Senior Graphic Designer

Job description / Role

We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to work for a world leading Global advertising agency based in their Qatar office.

Job Summary:

• Produces visual solutions for the communication needs of clients as requested in the creative briefs, using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness.
• Works closely with Art Directors and Copywriters to develop creative concepts that best capture clients’ requirements.
• Researches brands/ clients/ products, etc., to gain additional insights required to deliver well targeted and relevant creative concepts and visuals.
• Develops sketches of the artwork agreed and facilitates their review and approval by the Art Directors.
• Reviews brand usage guidelines and ensures that the final art work produced is in line with their requirements.
• If required, attends key client meetings to obtain feedback on the art work delivered and provides inputs into the technical capabilities and effort required to amend / develop new art work.
• Stores all creative output developed as per the approved standard archiving requirements.
• Performs basic troubleshooting of studio equipment and liaises with the IT teams in case of any studio equipment technical faults.

Requirements

Key Skills:

• Good understanding of studio equipment, such as Macs, scanners, copiers, color proofers and any others.
• Good communications skills.
• Good understanding of creative agency operations.
• Knowledge of standard office applications (Ms Office package).
• Expert knowledge of key design software functionality and features (Photoshop, InDesign and other).
