Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading architectural and design consultancy based in Kuwait. Our client has designed and developed projects worldwide and is looking to hire a Senior Graphic Designer to work within their design team.
You will be responsible for the company's graphic design for presentations, environmental graphics, the website and internal communication. Working closely with the internal design team, you will conceptualise and prepare overall designs for environmental graphics and proposals ensuring the graphics are in line with the themes. You will also develop design briefs by gathering information, producing visual and printed graphic designs for use across the company whilst ensuring all designs are of high quality and accurately developed.
In addition, you will be accountable for the latest design programs and software, creating designs based on layout principles and design concepts as well as recommending new and innovative company logo designs to Senior Management. You will also work alongside the in-house IT Department to maintain and update the website.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a bachelors Degree in graphics or fine arts with at least 7 years experience in a similar position within the construction industry. You should have strong knowledge of graphic web design, Adobe package and CAD procedures. International experience in Western Europe would be highly advantageous. This position offers an immediate start for the right candidate.
