Job description / Role
Sabre is seeking a commercially minded HR business partner to be based in the Middle East Head Quarters in Bahrain.
Main responsibilities:
- Provides senior level support in functional areas of Human Resources including but not limited to recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, training and special projects
- Assists in the development and implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings
- Prepares reports in conformance with legislated requirements or organization needs
- Customizes and delivers specific Business Unit HR initiatives such as coaching managers on performance management, employee development, succession management, leads HR projects for the business unit, including M&A projects
- May also coordinate development programs, performance review and incentive plan processes
- May also prepare reports based on the needs of the organization supported
- May have responsibility for salary administration
- May oversee recruitment process
- Performs other support functions as needed
Reporting to: HR Manager

Travel requirements: 30%
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of HR legislations across the middle east
- 4 years plus relevant generalist HR experience at Advisor level
- Experience of having worked in an international company having covered various geographies across the middle east
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability and willingness to undertake occasional travel
- Educated to degree level
- HR qualification would be preferred
- Advanced computer software skills
- Language Fluency: Arabic
Successful candidates will be employed by the joint venture company (they will not be employees of Sabre or Gulf Air).
