Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Senior Human Resources Officer has one primary objective: To assist the HR department in efficiently completing HR Administration across TAKAUD.

Recruitment
- Ensure the correct authorisation(s) are in place before commencing any recruitment
- Arrange for vacancies to be advertised in the recommended places
- Liaise with the Marketing & Communications department to advertise vacancies online / via social media
- Create and maintain an accurate log of all candidates who have applied for each role
- Liaise with recruitment agencies where required
- Produce offer letters
- Communicate with new starters at all stages of the recruitment, offer and on boarding process
- Set up soft and hard employee files
- Ensure files are completed during probation
- Request employment references, following up where necessary
- Probation; request objectives from manager and send reminders. Escalate where necessary.

Training & Development
- Source training providers and courses
- Ensure training request forms are fully completed
- Provide support in collating the annual training plan
- Design and implement feedback forms and post training forms to incorporate how learning from the course will be brought back in to the workplace
- Coordinate individuals inductions and corporate inductions

Performance Management
- Maintain accurate records of performance reviews completed and outstanding
- Maintain accurate records of probation completed and outstanding performance objectives

Payroll
- Provide support in preparing the monthly payroll for checking and approving
- Release the payslips each month
- Prepare either the paper based or cash link formats for the payment of payroll

HR Data
- Maintain up to date and accurate data in the HR system
- Conduct regular reviews of the data to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data
- Provide support in the implementation of new modules and / or new country implementations
- Ensure all documents requiring signatures from employees are in both hard and soft copies of files

General HR Administration
- Provide basic advice and guidance on policies
- Monitor attendance annual leave and sickness regularly and ensuring records are up to date on the HR system and manual leave spread sheet
- Maintain a log of job descriptions
- Ensure all job descriptions are signed
- Ensure visa applications and renewals are completed in a timely manner
- Produce LPOs and ensure payment authorisations are in place
- Ensure all new employees and leavers are updated on GOSI
- Invoice reconciliations; GOSI, Medical Insurance, Group Life etc.
- Flight bookings for training, interview candidates and mobilisation
- Liaise with government authorities including Ministry of Labour, CIO, SIO, LMRA. Responsible for ensuring data held with these authorities is up to date and accurate
- Any other administration as required

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in HR Management or related discipline
- CIPD qualified or working towards a CIPD qualification
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience across all HR disciplines including employment, benefits, compensation, employee relations, training and development.
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Excellent verbal and written communication at all levels
- Demonstrate high level of ethical behaviour
- Flexible approach, able to adapt to changes in working environment
- Ability to find solutions to problems on own initiative
