The Role

The role of the Senior HR Officer will be: To provide professional coordination in the planning, design, implementation, and administration of job classifications, compensation and benefits programs across all business units.
The successful candidates must have experience in the following areas:
•Assisting the HR Manager in improving the existing HR system, reviewing of HR Manual, policies and procedure.
•Undertaking job analysis to draft appropriate job descriptions for both new and revised positions. Job evaluation, Grading systems. and conducting market survey for plotting pay / salary scales.
•Ability to assist the HR Manager in the designing & implementing of performance management system, reward system and identification of training needs.
•Ability to conduct interviews at different levels, psychometric testing, written tests for technical and senior staff.
•Knowledge and implementation of the fundamental principles and practices of compensation survey design and analysis, including participating in salary surveys; monitoring market results and making recommendations for changes in structure based on survey results.
•Development and documentation of procedures to ensure adherence to standards and developing communication tools and to enhance the understanding of benefit packages.
•Ability to maintain integrity of confidential information.
•Communications skills and the ability to interact with staff and management at all levels to ensure the achievement of overall business unit goals.

Requirements

Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience with Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) accreditation highly regarded.
Previous 3-5 years of experience within the Gulf Region within the Architectural, Engineering or Construction industry.
