Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Ensures implementation of HR strategies and policies focusing on achievement of the following results:
- Implementation of HR strategy; effective implementation of the internal control; proper design and functioning of the HR management system.
- Full compliance of HR activities with DSC policies, procedures and strategies.
- Review and recommend changes to Head of HR on HR P&Ps as per operational requirements and advise the business on the changes through communication and awareness sessions where required.
- Advise the business on new HR practices and projects guided by the corporate HR function within the DSC HO.

Recruitment:
- Management of transparent and competitive recruitment and selection processes including updating the job descriptions, proper job evaluation, vacancies announcement, screening of candidates, organization and chairing of interview panels and making recommendations on recruitment.
- Development and maintenance of data base for all job applications.
- Continuous monitoring of the entire recruitment process and recommending new recruitment approach at a minimum cost to the business.
- Monitoring and tracking of all transactions related to positions, recruitment and HR data.

Performance Management:
- Elaboration and implementation of the performance management cycle while maintaining the appropriate timelines of the appraisal process, facilitation, elaboration of performance evaluation indicators in consultation with the Senior Management as advised by the corporate HR.
- Act as the key driver of all performance management matters.
- Conducting the training needs analysis (TNA) and develop the training implementation plan within the business.
- Advise and coach team members on all performance and employee relation matters.

On & Off-Boarding:
- Manage the On Boarding for the employees including Induction, coordinating with the Administration Department for flights, accommodation
- Manage the probation evaluation process while keeping proper track records
- Manage the off-boarding process in conjunction with the centralized payroll function to ensure a smooth exit and final settlement process.

Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization
- Plan and organise various kinds of activities to boost employee morale and motivation
- Attend to employees grievances and complaints; provide guidance and implement disciplinary procures
- Provide feedback to the Management to enhance a better and cordial working environment
- Actively participate in the process of planning and publishing the DSC staff newsletter

Payroll:
- Prepare the monthly payroll process in conjunction with the payroll function. Process and document all payroll activities (i.e. annual leave processing, ticket entitlements, advances, loans, exceptions, incentives and overtime payments) to ensure that all are taken into account prior to processing the payroll.

Adhoc HR Projects as assigned by the Head of HR at DSC.
