Job description / Role
To execute senior management role and at strategic level;
To oversee Safety/Fire/Environment/Occupational Health Teams and to ensure that all the necessary programs are executed;
To work in cooperation with Security and Logistics Teams;
To support HSE/Fire in Lusail / QD Local Projects;
To ensure that PMCMs / Consultants Scope of Services are delivered and are effective;
Ensures all regulatory and Lusail standards and requirements for HSE and Fire fulfilled;
Ensures that environmental impact assessment studies are conducted;
Liaises with MOL for safety matters relating to Developer Contractors;
Ensures that accidents and incidents relating to safety, environment and fire are minimized;
Guide Safety/Environment/Fire/Occupational Health Managers where necessary;
To support all other teams within HSSELQ department with regard to fire and emergency related issues;
To liaise with all relevant government agencies and authorities as necessary;
To ensures that all corporate social responsibilities are executed;
Ensures objectives and work programs relating to hse and fire each year are delivered;
Ensures all necessary hse and fire training are executed;
To liaise with developers contractors where necessary
Requirements
- Minimum 20 years of knowledge and experience of HSE & Fire Safety;
- Minimum 15 years of management experience level;
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in GCC Countries;
- A degree or equivalent in academic education;
- Certified Safety Practitioner;
- Other HSE and Fire Prevention related training;
- Ability to liaise effectively at all levels;
- Able to work under high-pressure environment;
- Able to lead HSE & Fire Management at a strategic level;
- Must have good communication / reporting writing / presentation / organization skills
