Job description / Role
1. Good knowledge of principals, theories and practices in construction management and company policy and procedures.
2. Be Able to demonstrate high level of understanding and interpretation of applicable laws, regulations and international best practice in HSE Management.
3. Experience in ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO18001 will be required with advantage to internal auditing experience.
4. English/Arabic proficient to assist the Project Manager in implementing and coordinating the Kele QHSE Policy and Procedures in line with UAE Laws and Regulations.
5. Ensure maintenance of the Kele 3rd Party certification requirements in line with ISO9001, ISO14001 and OSHAS18001.
6. Make a decision or solve a problem by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives and propose quality solutions.
7. Deal with staff and visitors in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact and professionalism.
8. Perform any other work duties which may be assigned to you from time to time.
Requirements
Senior Health and Safety Officer holding an University Degree / Diploma in Engineering (in Safety, Civil or Architectural) from the Philippines or according to the nature of the Project and specialization from an university accredited by the Ministry of higher Education in UAE.Not less than 5 years specialization experience in construction work sites.Qualifying certificate approved by the Municipality.Preference will be given to candidates with a valid EHS Tarkheed SARS License and Available Immediately.Experience in High-rise buildings, shopping malls and proficiency in English are essential.
