Senior HSE Specialist

Job description / Role

Our client is highly prominent multinational and a world leader in the packaging industry.
They are currently on the lookout for a highly experienced HSE Specialist to manage the following 3 key areas:

1. HSE Management of the Dubai facilities (2 floors, 200 pax capacity)
2. HSE Management  and Responsibility for all operations on their many client's sites - responsibility for H&S of their engineers and staff, security health and safety measures as it relates to heavy machinery
3. Management of security regulations and duties, particularly as it relates to the many countries being visited by company staff in the MEA sector on a regular basis (Security arrangements, flights, hotels, security updates, etc etc)

The position requires candidates with experience in a similar or identical role, working on the Middle East & African geographical region.
Regional and local knowledge is therefore absolutely essential.
Our client requires highly qualified and experienced HSE specialists with direct and recent experience in working on the 3 points listed above.
Knowledge of French and/or Arabic is a bonus, but English (writtent and spoken) MUST be at mother tongue level.

Requirements

NEBOSH or IOSH diploma (or certificate) certification is absolutely required. We also seek candidates with an HSE Degree or equivalent; manufacturing, automation  or rolling stock experience; hazard identification and risk management qualifications and experience (or at least training qualifications, such as TapRoot or Route Tree Analysis) are all required. Outstanding Verbal and Written reporting and communication skills are an absolute must.
