Employment: Full Time

For a newly established position, Monjasa DMCC (Dubai) seeks a Senior HSEQ Specialist to assist our Group HSEQ Manager (based in Monjasa headquarters in Denmark) in developing, implementing and following up on all health, safety, environment, quality and energy management systems (HSEQEn) and tasks within the Monjasa DMCC.

The position is full time and is expected occupied as soon as possible.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Senior HSEQ Specialist based in a dynamic environment, you will be part of a leading international company with “Excellence” as first priority in all tasks given.

You will support the Group HSEQ Manager and can look forward to conducting a diverse variety of assignments concerning all health, safety, environment, quality and energy management systems (HSEQEn) and tasks within the Monjasa DMCC, Dubai.

AREAS OF FOCUS
• Optimise existing systems and processes
• Develop and implement new procedures and instructions
• Evaluation of customer satisfaction
• Follow-up on action plans
• Perform internal audits
• Evaluate suppliers
• Registration and processing of non-conformance reports
• In-house training and education in relation to HSEQEn
• Assist and support the Occupational Health and Safety Working Committee (e.g. workplace and risk assessments)

Requirements

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE - PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
• Minimum 5 years of work experience with ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 and/or ISO50001
• English on a professional level (verbal/writing)
• Relevant educational background
• Experience from the maritime, wind and/or oil industry is preferred
• Excellent organisational skills, including ability to multitask, organise, prioritise and follow through on commitments
• Organised, results oriented, proactive, innovative and able to deal with ambiguity and tight deadlines while working effectively in a team environment
• Enthusiastic, drive and a can-do attitude
• Ability to work in a hectic environment
• A positive person with social skills and a good overview, based on solid and relevant experience
