Atkins has been established in the Gulf for over 40 years, having carried out design and supervision commissions in the Gulf area since 1967.

We provide a full range of design, engineering and project management services for buildings, transportation and other infrastructure programmes working on some of the most interesting and challenging Projects in the Middle East. Atkins in the Middle East now employs around 2,000 staff serving Gulf clients across all market sectors from offices in Riyadh, Jeddah, AL-Khober, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Doha, Dubai, Kuwait City, Manama, Muscat, and Sharjah.

In KSA, Atkins are involved in a number of high profile projects, we are currently looking for a Senior Highways CAD with the relevant experience, a degree qualified and with a minimum of 10 years experience to join our Infrastructure Business.

Experience of working on Highways and Roads projects to join our team in Riyadh KSA. Individuals that hold a Diploma will also be considered provided this is a three year Diploma qualification.

Responsibilities:

- Produce detailed designs of roundabouts and junctions.
- Preparation of engineering drawings using AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Preparation of sketches & figures.
- Adherence to project CAD manual.
- Adherence to project quality procedures.

Requirements

Requirements:

- Qualification - Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 10 years experience in highways, transport planning or infrastructure projects.
- Good experience in the drafting of roads, roundabouts, junctions, traffic signs & road markings.
- Experienced user of AutoCAD software
- Ability to work without excessive supervision.
- Ability for self checking & correction.
- Able to produce quality work to the required standard.
- Familiarity with AASHTO and DMRB standards is an advantage and desirable nut not essential
- Able to comply with CAD standards
