Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Reviews, appraises, investigates and develops all aspects of Personnel Policies and Procedures, Develops and maintains HR/Business Processes and review in line with best practices, and provide impact analysis on the organization and the Human Capital of change management

Principal Accountabilities:
• Participate in different HR Studies to improve HR process related to Manpower, Recruitment and Talent Management.
• Plans and carries out complex research programs designed to develop and improve major long term policies, (e.g. Compensation Policies, Work/Leave Cycles, Hours of Work, Housing etc
• Reviews all external proposals/laws to understand their implications and to highlight problems arising. Works with ADNOC Group Section Leaders, and commissions Public Relations to discuss with Government Officials, to seek clarification on possible implications for the Company. Prepares the Company's response and seeks agreement with representatives of Group Companies if a joint stand is required. Submits recommendations including cost/benefit analysis, alternative options; and proposals for dealing with special exceptions.
• Reviews policies/procedures and practices of other Major Oil Companies (including ADNOC Group Companies) involving analysis of similarities/variances/trends and the cost/benefit implications of other Gulf and UAE personnel practices. Participates in bilateral personnel surveys with UAE and Gulf Oil Companies.
• Gives guidance and interpretation on all aspects of existing Personnel Policies and Procedures to AHR Management and administration, line management and employees.
• Maintain Policy and Procedures Manuals and the Personnel Handbook are regularly updated, that all policy statements are precise and accurate, and formulae are clearly stated with examples.
• Prepares supporting policy based paper work and agendas for coordination/liaison meetings attended by himself or other HR Personnel. Prepares statements of the Company's Policy and its stand on new proposals / problem areas for both internal and external distribution.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

10-15 years of professional HR experience, with focus on manpower and Human Capital strategies development.

Bachelor's degree with professional certification in, Human Resources, Business E-Commerce, or Information Systems or Occupational Psychology

• Proven results in developing and executing sourcing strategies
• Knowledge of UAE government laws & Nationalization strategies
