The RoleThe RoleDate of inception: August 2011 Duration of service: Approx. until March 2013 - Supervision of Site activities such as erection, installation, testing and commissioning in close co-operation with and under the supervision of LI’s General Site Manager or his representative and client SEC. - Factory inspection of equipment at manufacturer and factory acceptance tests. - Approval of engineering documents and drawings. - Approval and supervision of defined test procedures, start-up sequences, reliability test runs and performance tests. - Scheduling and monitoring of functional and operational tests of various equipments in order to prepare the equipment to the first start up. - Scheduling and monitoring of reliability test runs and performance tests. - Verification of the compliance of test results with the design and reliability requirements. - Preparation of inspection reports, certificates, progress reports and site correspondence. - Participation at meetings. - Resource scheduling and guidance of sub consultant’s inspectors. |
RequirementsRequirementsMaster's or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) Minimum of ten years of engineering and/or construction and project management experience in power plant projects, at least three years on Senior Engineer level Fluent English; German capabilities are advantageous Of utmost importance for the position besides technical skills are political tact and cultural empathy in order to form a beneficial work climate with the client's own staff. |
