Senior IP Legal Specialist and IP Legal Specialist

Our client is a leading private, non-profit organization that serves the people of Qatar by supporting and operating programs within the education, science and research.

Working within the Intellectual Property (IP) Division of this complex and diversified organisation the Senior IP Legal Specialist and IP Legal Specialist will be responsible for:
- Providing legal and strategic advice related to all aspects of the IP Divisions complex contracts and agreements.
- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance the Intellectual Property Process.
- Drafting and Negotiating IP agreements provided by internal and external clients
- Provide advice to the business in relation to IP laws, rules and regulations, both regionally and internationally on IP and contract matters.
- Interpret laws, rulings and regulations and conventions relating to IP

Requirements

- A qualified Intellectual Property solicitor with between 2 and 8 years experience in an international corporation or within a law firm.
- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- First rate oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
