Job description / Role
Our client is a professional services consultancy providing IT consultancy services to a diverse client base and as part of their expansion plans, we are recruiting a Senior IT Auditor who will perform IT audits independently for clients to assess the adequacy of IT control procedures in line with statutory and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Establishing audit plans, test procedures and risk control, monitoring and evaluating procedures and matrices
- Conducting IT system audits, evaluating their effectiveness and preparing audit reports which incorporate the remedial actions for project management processes, infrastructure, applications and operating systems
- Applying internal control concepts in a wide variety of information technology processes and assessing the exposures resulting from ineffective or missing control practices
- Ensuring that all IT business processes are documented
- Performing IT governance and compliance framework and regulations audits to remediate the control weaknesses and make recommendation for improvements on application and database controls and transaction testing
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT related
- Professional qualification such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CEH, CGEIT
- 3 - 5 years post qualification IT Audit or IS Audit experience
- 2 - 3 years IT industry experience in development, IT infrastructure or database administration
- IT General Controls Testing with knowledge of Computer Assisted Tests (CATs) using ACL
- Application Control testing for financial and inventory systems
- Ability to present reports in a professional and concise manner

- Fluency in English is essential with fluency in English
- Excellent analytical, logical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Confident with an outgoing personality
- Self-motivated with the desire to deliver high quality work and meet deadlines
