Employment: Full Time

With steady global growth this international oil and gas services organisation has a requirement for a Senior IT Manager.

This role requires someone who has a hands on approach and is a problem solver. While technical knowledge is important, the focus is much more on someone that has a consultative approach, is process driven and is an IT leader.

You will work closely with the European offices to ensure the delivery of business solutions, manage and review all applications as well as develop strategies to rationalise applications to business critical apps. You will be required to manage IT support services and identify, forecast and allocate resources for contractors and 3rd party providers. You will also ensure configuration and development standards are defined and adhered to and are quality approved.

Requirements

Candidates should be Degree qualified with solid business process knowledge. You should be an excellent team player who likes to achieve outstanding results. Experience within the region is also a distinct advantage. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English as well as the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Knowledge of the oil and gas sector would be a distinct advantage. Our client has requested western educated candidates for this role.
