Job description / Role
Main responsibilities of the role:
•The role will be responsible for managing the assigned projects and service delivery.
•This role includes being the single point of contact into IT for all aspects of assigned project(s) for the full lifecycle from concept to project close
•Supports the head of IT in Identify emerging information technologies to be assimilated, integrated, and introduced within the company.
•Support the head of IT in improving processes within the IT department.
•Oversee on going improvements and the feasibility of system enhancements.
•Actively involved in planning and policy-making committees within the IT department.
•Support the head of IT in formulating information technology strategic plans, policies, programs, and schedules for business and finance data processing, computer services, network communications, and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives.
•Advise the head of IT on strategic systems conversions and integrations in support of business goals and objectives.
•Support the head of IT in reviewing contracts for computing and information technology services and equipment.
•Participate actively in the Gulf budget & Audit processes.
Requirements
Candidate must have the following:
-7+ years in a Project Management role
-5+ years in operations and resource management
Education level required:
-Formal IT related tertiary qualifications
-Relevant Project Management certification
