Job description / Role
Our client is a technology consulting firm providing technology solutions to corporate enterprise clients across the MENA and Levant regions.
Responsibilities
- Providing consultancy services for information security and piracy projects by building security monitoring frameworks and models, processes, designs, policies and procedures and systems services from security and cyber threats and implementing the information security and privacy programs
- Reviewing and revising security and systems policies, rules and filters for detection related security technologies to improve and enhance the technical effectiveness for end users and the overall system
- Reviewing, modifying, designing and implementing security solutions which include SIEM, vulnerability management, security operations and control systems security practices
- Reviewing the technical standards and ensuring that the auditing and monitoring compliance meets the statutory and corporate requirements and policies
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Sciences related subject would be an advantage
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or Computer Sciences
- 4 - 6 years experience in information security
- Excellent working knowledge of Security Frameworks such as ISO 27002, COBIT, NIST 800-53 and HITRUST
- Experience in Enterprise Risk, Audit, Regulatory compliance such as PCI, ISO 27001, HIPAA, SOX
- Excellent working knowledge of security architecture and design
- Excellent working knowledge of IT processes such as ITIL including incidents, technical issues, bugs, modifications, releases and upgrades
- Extensive working experience in vulnerability and security assessments
- Previous experience in designing and implementing security event and incident management (SEIM) is a plus
- Effective project management skills
