Senior IT Security Specialist

Job description / Role

- Develop the Information Security Technical Architecture and related deployment plans.

- Provide project (expert level) advisory and consulting services for various departments on technical related information security matters.

- Build and manage the secure deployment of technical solutions, standards, processes and the implementation of supporting tools to support the mitigation of technical threats.

- Demonstrate Technical Security knowledge and detailed understanding of emerging IT trends, e.g., SSO, cloud computing, SOC, BI, ALM, Log Management, virtualization, web technologies, inter-networking trends.

- Develop and maintain threat models working with business units, senior Infrastructure Management leaders, and technical subject matter specialists.

- Conduct pre deployment security checks and assessments on products/technologies and/or application/web application development and testing.

- Establish Security referential architectures and strategies for service areas such as Encryption and Key Management, , SSO and Identity and Access Management, Cloud Computing, SOC, Log Management, Virtualization, Infrastructure Security (Network, Unix, Windows, Wi-Fi, Database), Application Security (Secure Web Development), Secure Data Management, and Data Loss Prevention.

- Demonstrate experience with the following technical aspects, but not limited to:

- Information security solutions for SOCs
- Security monitoring solutions (events, incidents, correlation, logs)
- Strong system administration experience (Linux, Unix, Windows, Active Directory, Oracle, Databases, etc.)
- Strong network administration experience (routing and switching, connectivity troubleshooting, firewalls)
- Security incident/event triage and Forensic (system and network) capture, analysis and reporting.
- Malware analysis including reverse engineering.
- Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing scanning and remediation, using different tools and/or methodologies.
- Web applications security assessments
- Process documentation, development and improvement

Requirements

-Bachelor or Higher Diploma in IT/Information Security or any related field.
- Good negotiation Skills
- 8 years of experience in IS.

- Ability to work with and contribute to a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Formal documentation skills
