Senior IT Systems Architect

Job description / Role

Our Company, specialising in Automotive and Insurance related products and services, is looking to hire a SENIOR IT SYSTEMS ARCHITECT to be based in Dubai.

Experienced professional will be responsible for the development and delivery of IT solutions to business problems as directed by corporate IT strategy. Activities cover defining system architecture and dividing systems to manageable sub-systems logically interconnected. Ability to study multiple solutions/sub-systems designs and recommend one to be implemented, tested and operated. Ability to bring back sub-systems and link them together to have a complete logical, consistent and operation solution. The feasibility of technical solution is considered within the context of the organization's business objectives. Liaises with Users/Management and provides technical consultancy across the organization relating to enterprise applications, systems software, and business solutions.

Requirements

- Understand business processes and able to define the architecture/algorithm/processes of the system, recognize and recommend customizations to meet / improve company's operations
- Breakdown systems into manageable components or sub systems, understand how these components are interacting together both logically and technologically, and ability to suggest improvements to one or more of the sub systems
- Explain system architecture, and logical data flow to designers and developers, and help them to build and test its components
- Gathering the highest level of system requirements by the users or management team, ensuring that high level analysis are correct, consistent, operationally defined within the defined constraints of scope, schedule, cost, resources, risk and quality
- Perform systems and business analysis, estimations, cost-benefit analysis, planning and risk management
- Assist in ERP / DMS projects and coordinate with ERP / DMS Project Manager to ensure effective analysis, design, implementation and delivery of a live system
- Setup and carry out timelines and deadlines necessary and keep the management team regularly informed of progress
- Responsible for effective user support, training, troubleshooting and problem / issues resolution related to business applications
- Adopting/ studying/ recommending new technologies and tools for business operations
- Setting up policies and procedures for new operations and enhancing existing IT policies
- Support of organization wide concept systems as ERP solutions, Security systems, and Business management solutions
- Training and coaching of end-users, clients and new staff keeps accurate records of the steps and decision made
- Ability to travel to other Arab and foreign countries if required
