The RoleThe RoleAccountable for: •Ensuring Capacity planning, scalability, efficient utilization, availability, and security of Microsoft technologies. (Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, MOM, SMS, WSUS, etc), Citrix, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Storage, Backup, and other Platforms. •Developing operations and configuration manuals for all systems and Microsoft based platforms. •Ensuring strict adherence to Policies and Procedures, and prompt closure to Audit findings. •Ensuring IT related services continuity and efficient support to all units across Arab Bank. •Ensuring proper operations and implementation of infrastructure platforms, services, and systems in Arab bank. •Identifying new requirements, evaluating technologies, and developing the Arab Bank infrastructure platforms and services by adopting and implementing new technologies. Key Roles: •Design, Select, implement, manage and monitor deployments of Windows Operating System, Active Directory, Exchange , Citrix, SQL Server, IIS, Windows Clustering/ High Availability Solutions, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Microsoft Operations Manager, Storage/Backup Solutions, and Microsoft Configurations Manager. •Provide third-level technical support to IT centers, IT hubs, and other peers on infrastructure platforms and systems. •Monitor and follow up with IT centers and IT Hubs to ensure proper operations and implementation of infrastructure platforms solutions and services in Arab bank. •Ensure that infrastructure platforms monitoring and capacity planning functions are performed systematically and periodically in all Arab Bank regions. •Identification of new requirements, evaluating and studying any new enhancement to our working environment by upgrading or implementing a new solutions and services. •Participate as necessary in the IT solutions procurement, vendor evaluation/ selection, and contract administration processes. •Disaster Recovery design, planning, and implementation for infrastructure platforms. •Develop the operating controls, policies, and procedures for infrastructure platforms. •Develop, implement, maintain, and monitor operating security controls related to Microsoft Platforms. •Adhere and comply with all policies and procedures to close all related audit findings. |
RequirementsRequirementsEducation: Graduated degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Engineering). Experience: 6+ years in IT technical positions in a major financial institution or in a banking solutions vendor. Competences: •Fluent in English and Arabic. •Professional technical certifications; MCSE, CCA, etc. •Good Presentation and interpersonal skills. •Good documentation skills; Technical writing and editing skills. •Creative and innovative. •Excellent and strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills. •Strong IT technical background. •Project management skills. •Excellent follow-up, analytical and problem solving, conflict resolution, strategic thinking, persuasiveness, communication and inter-personal and negotiation skills. |
