Job description / Role

Our Middle East Water & Environment Division is looking to recruit a Senior Inspector - ICA to work for a key water industry client in Middle East Unit based in Bahrain.
Duties will include:
- Provide professional support to the management team within the Division, helping to ensure high quality service delivery and a co-ordinated response to clients
- Involve delegated trust and authority, together with the use of initiative, at a level commensurate with the status of the post
- Deputise to Senior Engineer
- Supervise contractor's work and monitor construction in accordance with approved programme, approved technical/design documents and drawings
- Participate in contract administration
- Review contractor's submissions
- Provide all necessary on-site direction and issue site instructions
- Check measure of work done and materials at site
- Observe site safety practices
- Report back as necessary to the Senior Engineer
- Record and display progress vs program
- Ensure correctness and completeness of 'As Built' drawings and O&M manuals.

Requirements
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:-
- Diploma in Electrical/ICA Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience, 5 of which will have been in construction supervision and 3 years on projects in water and wastewater sectors in the Middle East
- Experience within a consultancy environment specifically in the water industry is preferred.
