Job description / Role
ABOUT CLIENT:
An exciting opportunity with an established leading Middle East based National Oil Company that functions throughout onshore development sites as well as in the shallow coastal waters with a number of productive oil fields.
JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
1. To provide technical support to Major as well as Technical Projects for review of design documents produced by FEED consultants, EPC contractors while ensuring uniformity, standardisation and compliance to company standards and. to develop conceptual studies, statement of requirements for new projects.
2. Participate during project reviews like Hazop, SIL, design workshops. Provide technical expertise in consultation with Principal Engineer to evaluate project recommendations on key design issues.
3. To review/approve the bid evaluation for key systems for instrumentation and control in close coordination with the PMC engineer.
4. To develop conceptual studies, statement of requirements for new projects.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
B. Sc. in Engineering or equivalent.
15+ years of experience in oil and gas industry.
Should be able to provide technical expertise to the operating divisions in the field of Instrumentation and Control Engineering on non-routine technical matters, including the engineering services for Capital, EOM and other upgrade projects.
