The RoleThe RoleTo be an integral member of the Operations and Commissioning team to Operate, Maintain and carry out Commissioning at the BP Extended Well Testing (EWT) surface Facilities. Fulfill the role of Instrument/Control Performing and Isolating Authority and carry out the safe and efficient execution of instrument maintenance and commissioning activities. Instrument/Control Performing and Isolating Authority within the BP Control of Work system. As Performing Authority, be responsible for ensuring CoW standard conformance at the work site during operations, maintenance and commissioning activities. Support Muscat Reliability and Maintenance team with maintenance procedures development and reviews, verify conformance and optimize instrumentation maintenance. Provide assurance of the computerized maintenance management system - MAXIMO by spot checking the quality of the data input. Provide input/assurance into the spares parts management process onsite. Coach Regional Techs in their development as Instrument/Control Techs in line with agreed CMAS profiles. Perform CMAS assessments. Participate in commissioning activities ensuring GOC is completed and handover to Operations Team. Participate in the review of any e-MOC's involving Control/Instrumentation content and be familiar carrying out walk-downs of systems using GOC (Guidance on Certification). |
RequirementsRequirementsDiploma / Higher Diploma -Delivery focus -Excellent interpersonal skills with proven success working in multi-disciplinary teams -Supervising contractors -Control of Work proficiency -People competence and development -Maintenance and integrity management -Fluent in spoken and written English -A minimum of 5 years experience in operations / maintenance role. -Minimum 5 years experience in similar relevant commissioning/operations role |
