Job description / Role
Based in Qatar and reporting to the Operations Technical Department, the Senior Integrity Engineer is part of the Engineering team and is responsible for implementing and maintaining Integrity Related Corrosion & Inspection Programs for the onshore/offshore facilities.
As a Senior Integrity Engineer you ensure industry approved processes and procedures to assess and evaluate the condition of equipment and verify it is acceptable for service. Monitor repairs, alterations and plant changes to ensure that the work is done in accordance with approved procedures and to the relevant industry standards and specifications. Reviews existing fabrication, inspection, and testing procedures to ensure they are utilizing the latest industry approved techniques with the goal of improving their efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have:
• Educated with a Technical degree at BSc/MSc level;
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the testing and inspection of equipment in the oil and gas industry;
• Must be familiar with conventional NDT techniques, applicable industry codes and standards construction and maintenance processes;
• Extensive experience and certification in Static Equipment integrity management, Inspection techniques and analyses, Risk Based Inspection methodology, materials and corrosion control strategies, Fitness for Service analyses and Conversant with NDT /NDE methods;
• Strong knowledge of relevant international codes and standards used in process static equipment
