Senior Interior Designer - Bahrain
My client is a world renown design firm, with a strong specialisation in interior hospitality projects. In a vision to expand into global markets and work on exciting projects, they are looking for strong designers to join their existing team. As a result, they are looking to expand their team with the appointment of an Senior Interior Designer responsible for managing the design functions on projects as assigned including client and department liaison.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams to develop design solutions for delegated interior projects.
- Develop design concepts and prepare with the project team documentation for tenders and construction.
- Assist with planning the project and junior designer work flow.
- Monitor, train and supervise junior designers to provide good design and standard detailing.
- Liaise with supervisor with regards to management and performance of junior designer.
- Attend coordination meetings with regards to all design matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Design.
- Minimum 5 years design experience (preferably in GCC but not essential).
- Hospitality experience is preferred.
- Effective leadership skills.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is essential and ideally a working knowledge of Sketch-Up.
- Strong concept design ability.
- Fluency in English.
