Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Generally act on behalf of the employer to ensure that the Architectural Employers Requirements and look and feel of architectural branding are implemented
- Liaise with the QRC Architectural/MEP Department

General Description of Role & Responsibilities:
- To Review and to submit to CTO a detailed commentary (incl. fail or approved advise) to all technical
- submissions based on latest design developments/specifications of the DB Contractors such as for: Drawings & Material Submissions
- Response to and advise the contractor on any comments to or objections to the design.
- Make recommendation on issuance of SONO certificate
- Ensure the quality of material selection to achieve the contractual GSAS requirements
- Detailed technical review of design documents and makes recommendations. Check for completeness, constructability, areas of significant cost reduction, compliance with design intent, and completeness of information and confirm coordination of disciplines (Including BIM)
- Offer professional Interior Design expertise to help improve the design
- Manage the DB Contractors to ensure that the branding is effectively implemented
- Manage and coordinate Interior design activities and deliverables (Including BIM)
- Provide analyses and recommendations where required
- Interior Design, quality and safety reviews where required
- To provide recommendations on proposed material and finishes.
- To provide recommendations on RFIs issued by the DB Contractors
- To provide recommendations on RFCs issued by the DB Contractors and/or if required PMC themselves to issue RFCs.
- Convene and chair design related meetings and workshops requested and attended by the Client and provide minutes of meetings.
- To conduct design progress and construction progress meetings weekly
- Lead and effectively minute branding meetings ensuring that agreed actions are followed up.

Requirements

The candidate should possess a minimum of a BSc Degree in Architecture or relevant field and have a minimum of 10 years experience.

- Design management in large scale projects,preferably in Metro stations, Airports, etc
- Knowledge on the Architectural Interior Design and FF&E (Conceptual &
- Development/ Detailed Design)
- Autocad, Revit, BIM, Sketch-up, 3Ds Max, V-Ray render, Maxwell render, MsOffice

- Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex executive meetings
- Strong decision making ability
