Senior Interior Designer

A Leading Interior design company in Dubai is looking for a senior interior designer to join their team to work on Hospitality projects in Dubai, UAE.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet with the client to determine requirements and needs
- Design sketches, plans & specifications
- Prepare all works from basic concept design through to detailed design
- Prepare working drawings which include FF&E
- Consider materials and costs before liaising with the client
- Coordinate with other departments working on the project
- Report timescales & progress report to the Design Director and Client
- Prepare the scope of work and then pricing accordingly
- Follow up with suppliers and check submittals

Requirements

- Experienced in the Hospitality Design Sector working with leading Hotel Design Consultancies
- Strong understanding of the operations requirements of premium hotels and restaurants
- BA in Architecture
- Must have over 3+ years experience
- Excellent technical and product knowledge in relation to FF&E items
- In-depth detailing skills
- Knowledge of manufactures suppliers and international products
- Good interpersonal skills and able to build positive and productive relationships with the client and colleagues
- Must be able to lead concept design within line with the design director
- Be aware of the importance of program management and be able to deliver a project on time and on budget
- Manage personal workload due to possibly working on multiple projects
- Work well with in a team
